Four Fires Burn is music born of many paths. Different cultures and traditions all singing with one voice. A voice rooted in the joy of making music and deep connections to their audience. Based in Los Angeles, Four Fires Burn blends authentic global instrumentation with contemporary songwriting. Featuring Persian santoor, Cuban tres and nylon string guitars, South Asian percussion and a funky soulful rhythm section punctuated by Katja and Jeffrey's vocals.

What's in a name
While searching for a band name, Rober put four fire emojis into one of his texts. A thought instantly came to mind, "four fires burn" -- that was it. We found it, or maybe it found us. What is the deeper meaning? We are the keepers of the flame. We carry a unquenchable desire to create and make music that frees people from their concerns and eases suffering.
